This wasn’t the case several years ago when I used to be caught up in society rat race, demanding nothing but the best for myself at all times.
Being “booked and busy” gave me the illusion that I was creating the possibility of a better life & any threat to that was a threat to my sense of accomplishment. This led to chronic stress, which then resulted in hormonal imbalances.
If you’re like me, you may be also feeling victim to this pattern of living life by default, where you’re merely just existing.
This type of life is stressful, unfulfilling, and can lead to unhappiness.
This is why I decided to prioritize my overall well-being by incorporating daily self-care routines for a healthy body, mind a soul. I began to write a series of books, including this one about self-care, to help regain control of my life, starting with improving the relationship with myself.
